Art Show

Hey folks Matt Everett and I are going to be having an Art Show at the Victory in December.  Just a warning.  I'll be putting up more deets later this week. 

Southside Hurling

These are some t-shirt designs that I came up with to help promote the Southside Hurling Club. 

This has a "Rat City" vibe that was close, but not what the client was looking for.

This was a little too "Kiddie"

This one is a lot closer to the mark.

USGAA Nationals T's

I whipped these up to represent Seattle's Hurling, Camogie, and Women's Football teams this year in San Francisco.

Here is part of a bunch of illustrations that I am doing for a informational health piece here at work.  I don't normally get to do a lot of illustration, so am pretty excited.  I am not sure if this one will be in the final print piece, but like it anyway.

Kids on Fire Poster

Finally I got to do a poster for Kids on Fire.  Things just haven't worked out for a variety of reasons, but now they have. 

 I wanted to do something using a collage-clip art style in a vaguely "metal" type look, which was something that I haven't tried before.  

In other news, I am working on a new blogsite and website combo.  Maybe it will land me some new opportunities. Who can say?

Art Show - this Friday

Hey everyone.  next Friday June 10th I am going to be part of a group show.  30 artists painting 30 works and the works are pieces are 4x4. The theme I did was "30 Bars that I have been drunk in."  I did sketches/watercolors of bars/elements inside or outside of bars. Please come on down and look at art on a Friday, then go to one of the bars that I drew and drink one for me.

- June 10th 2011 30/30 @ the Phinney Ridge Art walk in the Avanti Art & Design Gallery.  This is a big one.  I am doing 30 original pieces of art.  They will be 4x4 inches, and probably cost 30$-40$.  The subject will be Bars where I have been drunk.  no animals with these, so sort of a departure.

Here is a little illustration that I did as a comp for an up coming project.  We shall see if it gets used.  I doubt it will, but I like it.

I Owl Mice

This is a block print that was hand-crafted in the Workshoppe. Perfect for all of those people out there who love owls and/or like to eat mice.

The design is roughly 4x4, but is on a 8.5x11 piece of off-white card stock. It is limited to 20.

My New Marketing company

After working with about 200 marketing agencies all of whom amazed me by their by-the-book ineptitude, I figured that I would start my own.  Now I can cash the big checks.  We are hiring, so if you think that you have what it takes, please join us.  Must like Rock and Roll and awesome times.

Art Show update

Thanks to everyone who came out last Saturday for my art show.  And a special thanks to those who bought some art.  And a specialer thanks goes out to Kate Boyd, Mike uh Shrimpy Trash and Seamonkey.
